About Me

I am a Systems Engineer at Fortinet in Charlotte, NC, where I help enterprise customers address their challenges by designing tailored network and security solutions. My expertise spans next-generation firewalls (NGFW), software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN), and endpoint access, control, protection, and response.

Before transitioning into my current role, I spent a decade as a network engineer, followed by leading a university security team and serving as a senior information security engineer. These experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of both network infrastructure and cybersecurity. I’m thrilled to now bring this knowledge full circle, working closely with customers to craft the ideal cybersecurity solutions for their needs.

As a lifelong learner, I have a passion for exploring cloud and security topics. I use my posts as an opportunity to deepen my understanding and share insights with others.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter and our dogs in the backyard, as well as exploring all that Charlotte has to offer.
